I just picked up a bottle of Cabana for $16.99 here in Indianapolis. Cant wait to try in in a caipirinha or a mojito or both.

Thanks for your review. I do like Cachaca and have tried Cabana straight and in mixed cocktails. I found it very versatile and worth the price. Let me know what you think of the caipirinha you make. Can you supply your recipe? Thanks!

Too expensive and the tasting results showed it to be "commerical", so with other award winning cachaca out there like Cuca Fresca at 20 dollars a bottle, now you can enjoy the True Spirit of Brazil

Great website! I am a huge fan of the Capirinha. that said I have never had a sugarcane rum that I would stand to drink without copious amounts of simply syrup and lime. I will have to give this company a try as I respect your palate.

I made a couple caipirinhas with this and it wasn't too bad. Although the brand I regularly buy (Pitu) has a bit more punch in the flavor department.

It probably comes down to whether you like your cachaca smoother or a little rough around the edges.

I look forward to hearing how it mixes with the Capirinha and the Mojito. By the way, Matti Anttila is a Finnish name, just so you know :p.
