Excellent article. As you may know, it’s Rum Month on Examiner.com. I love learning just how extensive the history of rum is here in the United States alone.

Yep, love the Maui rum products. Especially bought in Maui for 1/2 price!

Question: What are you using for the “peach brandy” in the Fish House Punch? Damned if I can find anything that works.

Dr. B, good news is that we're getting a tour of the Old New Orleans Distillery next week, and we're going to have plenty to sample.

The rum with the lei is Maui Dark. It seems all of their bottles come with leis.

One of my regrets from Tales of the Cocktail last year was neither tasting/buying any ONO rum. I will make sure that doesn’t happen again.

Also, I need the rum w/ the little lei on it.
