It’s the national drink of Martinique, a favorite of rhum enthusiasts everywhere, and scarcely known outside of those circles, but the ‘Ti Punch is one of the most easily sipped tropical libations ever concocted.
Mojito
When the air gets a bit too warm and the beaches beckon, there are a few things that come to mind that must be had immediately. Loose-fitting clothes or tight bathing suits must be matched with sunscreen and some body of water. Friends must be gathered and all must enjoy some sort of cool, refreshing drink to calm the warm embrace of the sun. Few drinks are turned to in this time of need more often than the Mojito.
Daiquiri

In the world of rum there are iconic drinks and then there are ICONIC drinks. Queen’s Park Swizzle
Created in Trinidad, constructed with Guyanese rum and a heavy dose of Trinidad's most famous product, it's awfully hard to turn down a Queen's Park Swizzle. The drink is so refreshing and delicious that in 1946 one Trader Vic declared the Queen's Park Swizzle to be "the most delightful form of anesthesia given out today." Mai Tai
Iconic rum drinks are numerous. From the daiquiri to the mojito to the omnipresent "Rum & Coke" (or Cuba Libre if you're going to do it properly), they're everywhere. In 1944 one of the most iconic rum cocktails of all, perhaps only dwarfed by the daiquiri, was introduced by Victor "Trader Vic" Bergeron. The flagship of all tiki drinks, it's just hard to beat a good Mai Tai.
