Save “Three Sheets”

three_sheets_header I don’t often do this (like I’ve never done it before), but I wanted to take a moment to try and spread the word about Zane Lamprey’s TV show, “Three Sheets”, which currently airs on MOJOHD.  Apparently MOJOHD is closing its doors by the end of the year, and take its programming lineup with it unless other networks pick up the shows, including “Three Sheets”.

If you’re already a fan of Zane’s show, you know what a travesty the loss of this show would be.  If you’re not familiar, I highly recommend you check out the MOJO site, as well as Zane’s own website.  On the MOJO site you can view clips from various episodes at the bottom of the page.  Essentially, Zane has the job I wish I had.  Every week “Three Sheets” takes you to a different country as Zane explores the drinking and dining culture there.  He’s tasted rum with Joy Spence at Appleton Estate, blended his own cognac with Hennessy, plumbed the depths of cachaca in Brazil, and spent time exploring bourbon, scotch, vodka, and just about every other kind of spirit out there.  His combination of wit and curiosity makes for a fantastic, entertaining, and informative show.

“What can I do to save this show, Dood?”  I’m glad you asked!  Apparently SpikeTV is considering picking up the show, but dragging their feet in the process.  Sometimes people just need a push in the right direction to get them moving.  I’m asking my faithful (and even not-so-faithful) readers to help me save “Three Sheets” and get it picked up at Spike.  If you’d like to see “Three Sheets” picked up and airing its 17 some-odd episodes that are already in the can, let Spike know.

Well, I sent in my email!
Actually, for me this is good news.
I’ve seen Three Sheets and really liked it, but I don’t get MOJO.

    I DO get Spike….

My favorite episode is the one in Belize. He samples Viper Rum and nearly gets sick. Hilarious.
