This isn’t a rum-focused post, but since I’m spending so much of my formerly free time at the Mixoloseum Virtual Bar (or whatever Gabe is calling the chat room that is rapidly devouring my life), I figured I owed it a plug for the new weekly event: Thursday Night Drink Night.
Join a collection of rag–tag cocktailians as they discuss and invent new drinks ON THE FLY, and then test them out live. That’s right, everyone gets a chance (or 2 or 5) to rummage through their bar and come up with a brand new drink and have it tried out by the rest of the attendees, who will offer notes on why they do or don’t like it and how it can be improved (if at all).
Participation by everyone is greatly encouraged. In fact, create a new drink with us, and if it’s chosen as the best drink of the night, you could win FABULOUS PRIZES!!
So join us every Thursday night at the Mixoloseum Bar for boozy fun and games…even if they did choose the artwork pictured above over my submission for the event.
